Please find attached the third set of pages of petitions with around 600 signatures from the people who live and recreate in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. These signatures were gathered in just over a week. There was no door-to-door canvassing or booths set up. The petitions were merely set on counters in a few shops and carried by local property owners. The fact that almost everyone who saw the petition signed it with no pressure or additional information (other than the route alternatives map), should demonstrate that the majority of citizens are in favor of the Willow route which has been the official preferred route since 2002. The original signatures will be sent USPS. Additional petitions will be sent later as they are crossing in the mail.
