I am OPPOSED to the Tongue River Railroad because it will allow Arch Coal to greatly, irreversibly exacerbate global warming, which is unconscionable at this point in time, when we, and you, the NTSB, have full knowledge that coal burning is the major contributor to excessive atmospheric CO2, the cause of global warming. The railroad will result in pollution of the Otter Creek Valley and total destruction of this agricultural area, all for Arch Coal profits at the expense of established Montana farmers and ranchers. This coal will be sent to our major economic competitors in Asia, to the detriment of USA's economy as well as our Montana environment, neither of which is worth sacrificing for Arch Coal's profits. The NTSB should reject this proposal once and for all, and strive to protect this planet from further warming and pollution, for the sake of us and future generations.
