Comment EI-19939

I am writing to comment on the scope of the Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed coal railroad that would haul 1.3 billion tons of coal from southeast Montana, through Bozeman and to export terminals in Washington to be shipped to Asia. I am requesting that the Surface Transportation Board analyze: - The impacts of increased train traffic on communities like Bozeman that are affected by the railroad, including increased noise, increased wait time for emergency vehicle crossing, and pollution from coal dust. - The impacts of burning the coal in Asia (climate change).
