The EIS for the proposed Tongue River Railroad should analyze, among other things, the following: (1) impacts on wildlife and wildlife-related tourism (e.g., hunting); (2) impacts on the health, infrastructure, and traffic for the communities (e.g., Bozeman) along the rail lines with increased train traffic as the coal heads to coastal ports for shipment; (3) impacts on noise; (4) potential for flooding; (5) impacts on property values; (6) the necessity of this proposal; and (7) the impacts of burning such coal.
