Please evaluate this project in relation to the environmental effects of taking natural resource land and dividing it up with a new rail corridor. Evaluate the mining of coal with the effects of burning the coal and the resultant pollution and contribution to acid rain and ocean acidification. Is this proposed mining of coal to occur from Public lands? Will the American taxpayer get full value for our resource? The coal will not be able to be shipped from the West Coast as the risks to our precious marine life is too great. Where will this coal go? Please review this misguided project in it's entirety, include global effects, the health of the people breathing the coal dust, the ranches that will be cut up by the rail road and the lack of benefit to the general public. Thank you.
