Comment EI-19623

The Otter Creek valley should not be turned into a massive open pit coal mine to feed dirty coal to Asia (or anywhere else)! This would be bad for MT and bad for the world, especially because of effects on residents along the newly proposed rail route and global pollution. To quantify these problems, a new public comment period should be opened and a new hearing held in Colstrip. Bottom line - we need government policy and permitting decisions that support clean energy (and jobs that go along with it), not more pollution and global warming from dirty coal.
