Corporate Welfare is not necessary, there is already enough of that in the U.S. So much in fact that we have deficits and debt. This proposed railroad is not for the “public convenience and necessity” which is what is required in order for a body to get the power of eminent domain and condemnation authority. This railroad would serve only one coal company corporation, Arch Coal, which intends to sell the coal to China and other Asian countries so it is not even in the U.S. economy's interest. It is corporate welfare and welfare for China, both of whom do not need more U.S. taxpayer-funded welfare
