Dear Mr. Blodgett- I am very concerned about the impact of coal mining on the Tongue River Watershed and the place I call home. As I understand it, IF the proposal goes through, coal trains could rumble through Bozeman and other towns on the way to the West coast causing unnecessary disturbance in their wake. It would be unconscionable to not include impacts statements (environmental and otherwise) on the cities and towns through which the impacting element would travel. This is a no-brainer. The whole proposal is dubious because what we need is clean energy and protection of our precious natural resources - not a project like this. Thank you for your attention and for including cities and towns like Bozeman in the impact research.
