I strongly oppose the construction of the Tongue River Railroad and the increased traffic it would impose on Montana. We would negatively be affected by increased taxes for infrastructure upgrades and taking over private lands for corporate profit only to add competition for our economy. I have witnessed some environmental impacts on the ranchers and farmers in the Tongue River Valley and do not support the impact the railroad would have on this agricultural area. I implore you to consider these impacts in the scope of the environmental impact statement, to act upon the statewide opposition to this project and to pursue the no-action alternative.
