Regarding the proposed Tongue River Rairoad alternate routes: Though the map proposals don't show it, the narrative describes the routeleaving Miles City following the old Milwaukee Road alignment to the west, crossing the Yellowstone River---". This would sound as if train traffic will be passing through Miles City on the little used, former CMSP railbed and exiting to the west across the Tongue & Yellowstone Rivers. I can't imagine that this additional railway traffic would not significantly hinder cross-town traffic for all. If this is the case, will additional street overpass/underpass crossings be required to minimize traffic congestion and long delays, especially for emergency vehicles?"
