Hello. I'm a board member for the 208 6th Street HOA. We have 8 units in this building, which was constructed in 1880s. It is as historic as the Embankment across the street. We urge you to protect the structure and natural forest above it. We're less than 1 mile from the water and need help with rain absorption. We were borderline evacuation zone for Sandy. Next hurricane will be worse. Also please preserve the stone. Any removal of the stone with heavy machinery will be destructive to our bldg which is less than 50 ft away from us.
