Professors, researchers, parents and monarch enthusiasts from Ohio State, Colorado State, University of Kansas and more, have been informed about the imminent threat to Monarch butterflies, which are very delicate creatures and their habitats are officially endangered. We will not allow Conrail, the STB, the developers nor the City of Jersey City overlook this key factor!!!! If we have to bring in the EPA, WWF and stage a Monarch awareness event (which will obviously be covered by the press) to get people to realize that these walls CANNOT be knocked down because of the butterflies, then that's what we'll do. http://wiki.answers.com, http://www.worldwildlife.org/species/finder/monarchbutterflies/monarchbutterflie s.html, /Q/Why_are_monarch_butterflies_endangered Monarch habitats are protected under the law.
