The Harsimus Embankment is an impressive structure when viewed from the ground -- which I did a few years ago on my only visit to Jersey City. Aerial photos really demonstrate the impact that its preservation can have on the city. Industrial archeology of this magnitude is impressive and can be important in reforming transportation from car-based to muscle-powered in this densely developed city. Please retain this transportation infrastructure for use as active transportation not some non-transportation related development. --Tony Barrett
