It astounds me that a developer could swoop in and purchase the rights to the historic 6th street embankment in Jersey City without the city being given the proper opportunity as required. Down town Jersey City is in desparate need for more green space and this would be twarted by allowing Hyman to build on the structure. In addition I do not believe there is anyway the city's infrastructure could support the additional services required with these new residents and that does not even include parking.
