Our community needs a full study of the effects that abandonment of the Harsimus Branch, and demolition of the Embankment, will have on our community and city. Demolishing this massive structure will lead to serious air quality issues, noise, lots of loud trucks in an area not far from where childern play (Hamilton Park just 2 blocks away), dust, not to mention habitat destruction and a loss of a cultural pillar of this community. The embankment is beautiful and has the opportunity to make an amazing public space. Please don't destroy it.
