The STB should prepare a complete Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Harsimus Branch Embankment in Jersey City, NJ. Our community needs a full study of the effects that abandonment of the Harsimus Branch, and demolition of the Embankment, will have on our community and city. We are strongly opposed to the abandonment and demolotion of the embankment, and in favor of the preservation of the embankment site as much needed open space.
