The environmentla impact of the embankments being turned into multi storied metal boxes has me concerned. As does the detrimental impact these buildings would have on my quality of life. The PATH trains are already packed to capacity, during rush hours (I had to wait for another train on several occasions these past months.). I can't imagine what they will be like if you add the 5,000 to 10,000 new residents these buildings would house. I'm also concerned that, considering the reputation of the buyers, the embankments would be razed to the ground and then left there as empty barren land while the owners of the land wait for a developer to buy it from them. Considering the economic situation we are at present in, it could be some time. I really do not want Jersey City to be Hobokenized.
