Please authorize a full environmental impact statement for the Harsimus Branch. Bicyclists have a hard time in Hudson County, with its heavy motor vehicle traffic. The County has no safe east-west bicycle route. If the Harsimus Branch is abandoned and developed, it will foreclose the only opportunity for a direct, off-road route for the East Coast Greenway to reach the Hudson River waterfront. This trail is important not only to recreational walkers and bicyclists but also to local commuters who prefer to use their own power to get to work
