As a resident of 5th St, and mother of a 1 year old, I have grave concerns regarding the environmental impact of the proposed demolition of the embankment. What precautions will be taken to ensure that unknown toxins are not released into the air by the planned demolition? What studies will be undertaken ahead of demolition work to understand what potential hazards will be released? I urge you to take all necessary precautions by conducting an environmental impact study BEFORE undertaking any work, to avoid endangering the health of local residents.
