Please authorize an Environmental Impact Statement prior to ANY construction activity on the 6th Street Embankment in Jersey City, NJ. Based on the insufficient environmental laws in place at the time of its construction, and its use as an industrial site for many decades, there is no understanding of how any modifications to the Embankment will impact the local resident, especially with respect to exposure to toxic contaminants, rodents, traffic interruptions and overall quality of life.
