This is a request to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for the Harsimus Branch Embankment. The demolition of this historic structure would cause an awful disruption to the neighborhood, affecting the air quality, destruction of habitats for area wildlife, and the loss of a light rail linking Secaucus to the waterfront. Further, Conrail's developnet partner has failed to submit environmental sampling and has been in bad faith seeking demolition permits. Your attention is greatly appreciated!!
