Please authorize an Environmental Impact Statement before abandonment causes severe adverse effects to Jersey City historic districts, landmarks, neighborhoods, and families. I live right next door to the Embankment and I fear for the safety of my family and children. Removal of the emabankment will affect the air quality, noise, flooding in the area as the embankment absorbs water. Also the possibility of trash collecting in the area which my child could wander to and injure herself. Please perform this assessment to ensure the right things are done.
