Hi, I am writing this petition in order to stop the demolition of the old train embankment situated on 6th St. in Downtown Jersey City. I've been living in Jersey City for the past 6 years and i grew to love it. I've seen numerous changes since then. Unfortunately, the real estate developers don't care about the historical aspect of the city's architecture and how it affects us. I consider that demolishing the embankment is going to add to the crowdiness of the city, increase the parking problem, minimize the green lanscape of the city and last but not least, is going to affect our social life, especially those of us that live in the immediate vicinity. Therefore, i'm strongly opposing the demolition and i'm requesting a full environmental study of how this is going to impact the city and its people. Thank you for your time and for taking in consideration our oppinion. Sincerely, Gabriela Traistaru
