Hello, I am a Jersey City resident and I believe that the Surface Transportation Board should authorize a full environmental study of the Harsimus Branch, so decision-makers have the best information available to them. An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) should be issued for the Harsimus Branch Embankment in order to fully assess the consequences of abandonment and possibly demolition of the historic landmark. It would be irresponsible of the STB to allow abandonment and demolition without a thorough study of the effects. Thank you Michael Flinck Jersey City Resident 646-251-2890
