I am a resident of Jersey City and am very concerned that the pressures to overdevelop our neighborhood are causing a lack of concern with respect to basic development issues. It is imperative that a full and accurate Environmental Impact Study be made of the entire Harsimus Branch. Abandonment of the branch is hastening decay of this extremely large structure. It needs to studied and stabilized, not demolished. Its scale, location, and impact on our neighborhood is enormous, and only a full and factual EIS will provide the requisite data concerning its condition and future. Thank you, Marc Simon
