Please conduct a full Environmental Impact Statement to ensure that all of the impacts are clearly documented and that the granting of the permit is conditioned to ensure that whomever ends up with Embankment will be responsible to mitigate these impacts. I live in the downtown area and have for over 25 yrs., I see more hi- rise buildings half full and only low rise buildings for low - middle income people. The hi-rise bulding owners get tax breaks, and more tax breaks because of the warehousing of empty apt/condo units. They do not make good neighbors because tax braks and hi-rise deplete our public services. Please have the study completed. We need more open places and nature in the city not unruly humans . . and more hi-rise bldgs.
