A full, fact-based environmental impact statement should be prepared before this structure is abandoned. As an architecture student, I have spent a lot of time studying the importance of green spaces to the urban fabric; it would be terrible to see Jersey City let this potential resource go without adequately considering the potential adverse impacts.
