A full environmental impact study of the propsed Jersey City Embankment removal should be performed in advance of any permits being granted. A 100+ year old rail bed has significant toxins in it that may become airborne if diggin begins. There are also air quality considerations from the removal of so much vegetation. Further, other proposals should be heard. There are a number of options for the use of the space that would benefit the local residents more than new construction. Thank you for your consideration.
