I live less the two blocks from the Embankment. My home and my neighborhood have been declared a Historic Land Mark. At first I did not agree with such preservations however to see how it helps preserve the quality of the neighborhood, I now do agree. Our neighborhood has become crowed and less and less green space in our down town area. Our only green area in this neighborhood is a small local park Hamilton Park which must accommodate children, pet owners, sports, elderly and soon residence from the new high rise across the street. . I am also concerned if the Embankment is lost traffic will increase on our narrow and already dangerous street. I am a home owner in Jersey City and prior I lived in Park Slope Brooklyn where green space was very important to the community. Please see the value, the Embankment can give back to Jersey City has green space. Please forward the full environmental study. Please do not remove the Embankment rather create green space for our residents and youth.
