Demolition to the Embankment would not only take an important part of Jersey City's History, it will destroy the home of some the city's beautiful structures. Looking out towards the Emabankment, whether the trees are in full bloom or covered with snow- it's a peaceful and serene site. It's something Jersey City hasnt had while I was growing up here, and something Jersy City needs to get away from the stress of urban life. When I was growing up in Jersey City, I hav never seen a hummingbird, woodpecker, or cardinal, and I believe they all live in the Embankment now. Do not destroy a beautiful home.
