I request that a full environmental impact study be completed before Conrail is allowed to abandon the embankment to have it demolished by a developer. I'm greatly concerned with how the potential toxins in the soil will affect the air quality. There will be immense amounts of dust and noise and an impact to the local species as well. Our children cannot afford to have their health jeopardized by this abandonment.
