I am writing to urge that an EIS be conducted for the Harsimus Branch Embankment. The embankment is a significant part of our local environment and has the potential to be productive for the community (as passive open space, etc) or destructive if it is abandoned or demolished, potentially releasing contaminants. Whatever the outcome will be, an EIS is a necessary first step. Thanks for your consideration.
