STB should authorize a full environmental study of the Harsimus Branch, so decisionmakers have the best information available to them. An analysis on the Harsimus Branch of the Jersey City Embankment will provide the necessary information for lawmakers and others to decide the future of a very important piece of land. This important land can be the green answer to an urban problem. STB can be the channel in which a city finds its answers. Thank you for your consideration. Failure to do a study, citizens will question the integrity of this board. I have faith in the STB as a citizen of the former, Railtown" of South Plainfield, New Jersey. Your actions will set precedence throughout the state of New Jersey. Thanks!"
