I live directly across from the embankment and was disturbed to discover that plans are in the works to redevelop the property. One of the main reasons I purchased a brownstone in the neighborhood is because of landmarks such as the embankment. Its really a pleasure to look at the foliage during the summer and escape from the urban setting that I live in. I also appreciate the privacy that it affords my property. Please do not turn such a wonderful landmark into condos, it would really be a shame. Additionally, I would ask that an environmental study be conducted before any demolition take place. I would also look to be compensated for my inconvenience if any massive construction occurs adjacent to my property and of course, if any damage was caused to my 100+ year brownstone as a result. I think transforming the embankment into a park would be the best thing for the neighborhood and the historical integrity of the district. Thank you for listening. Best regards, Neil Blundell
