Please authorize an EIS on the Embankment. The impact to those living around the area will be severe, and may even destroy landmarked homes in the area. The demolition will most certainly shake foundations, and at the very least cause pollution. It will also ruin a cultural resource and a resting spot for many migratory song birds. Each year I have noticed the number of flocks song birds who stop in the Embankment area. Removal of the embankment would most certainly impact many species of birds.
