Please authorize an Environmental Impact Statement to explore the consequences of demolishing the Embankment. The lost opportunity to develop its unique properties into a combination of light rail and open space should be considered as part of the environmental cost to approving demolition. It should also be considered that while Jersey City is relatively small, it is one of the densist cities in the country (over 16,000 per sq mile). As such the notion of environmental impact" has broader meaning for air pollution, congestion and livability. Losing the elevated right-of-way of the embankment means forever losing the chance to make environmental progress in our neighborhood. Thank you for considering my comment. -Anthony"
