Please authorize an Environmental Impact Statement to determine the adverse effects regarding the demolition of Embankment". I live in the neigborhood and consider this structure a treasure. The only feasible solution is to leave "as-is", devlop park space pr use the structure for light rail transportation. WE DO NOT NEED FURTHER PRESSURE ON OUR INFRASTRUCTURE!!!! There is an overabundance of condo and real estate inventory in our area. This embankment is cutting directly through our historic district. Demolition would be a disaster to the multitude of Civil War era homes on either side of the structure. As a federal agency it would be great if you could bring your expertise and "clout" to this issue. Please help us."
