My sons need to breathe fresh air and preservation of the Historic Embankment as green space would help hundreds of little kids like my sons in the area. Conrail and its developer did not allow Jersey City to purchase the area prior to their own, secret negotiation. This is illegal. Conrail is obligated by law to offer sale of the land to the city. The city has the money and additional money from the Embankment Preservation Coalition. My family is from South Plainfield aka Railtown" and those residents look to this case as precedence for to what Conrail is obligated to do throughout New Jersey. Thank you for your kind consideration."
