I am a resident of Jersey City, NJ, and live 3 blocks from the Harsimus Branch/Pennsylvania Railroad Sixth Street Embankment. While I believe it should remain intact for historical purposes, I am also concerned with any detrimental environmental impacts its demolition could cause. I am writing to request that the STB authorize a full environmental study of the Harsimus Branch/Pennsylvania Railroad Sixth Street Embankment. We do not know what is in the Embankment fill, and this could be hazardous to our community and our children. Thank you for your time and consideration.
