The potential for damage to the comnunity from the demolition of this embankment would be far reaching. The fact that this this is a dense residential area and the last thing needed there is more housing"is secondary to the immediate effects of knocking it down. Jersey City is full of developers with NO connection to the area and politicians willing to sell out their own citizens no matter what the cost. We need a full environmental study of the Harsimus Branch/Pennsylvania Railroad Sixth Street Embankment."
