To Whom it May Concern: I am writing to urgently request that an Environmental Impact Statement be issued for the 6th Street Embankment before abandonment causes severely adverse effects to Jersey City historic districts, landmarks, neighborhoods, and families. Demolition of the structure will make homes which are directly adjacent to the embankment, absolutely unlivable for families such as my own. To proceed with such action without first issuing an EIS would be an irresponsibility of the highest order.
