Jersey City is a fragile ecosystem, with enormous potential to grow as a sustainable model urban environment". The post industrial recovery is vital to creating a safe, thriving city. Please hold Conrail accountable. STB should authorize a full environmental study of the Harsimus Branch, so decision makers have the best information available to them. Please authorize an Environmental Impact Statement before abandonment causes severe adverse effects to Jersey City historic districts, landmarks, neighborhoods, and families."
