Please authorize and EIS (Environmental Impact Statement) for the Embankment in downtown Jersey City before abandoment leads to demolition resulting in serious harmful effects to the surrounding historic neighborhoods and their residents. This densely populated and historic area surely merits an EIS when the stablity of many historic structures and the health of local residents seem likely at risk in the event of destruction of the embankment.
