I own a house within 60 feet of the 6th Street Harsimus Cove Embankment in Jersey City. This is a massive structure in the middle of a residential area. Demolition of this structure would cause untold effects on houses and people who live in the area. We need an Environmental Impact Study of this structure to tell us what is in the Embankment and what effect its demolition would cause to the neighborhood and to the city. Given the history of this area of NJ, we don't know if this is a Super Fund Site or not! Various plans have been submitted for the use of this area, a study is needed for us to proceed with these plans. Thank you.
