STB should authorize a full environmental study of the Harsimus Branch, so decisionmakers have the best information available to them. Given that Lefrak was stopped from building on the 10th street embankment due to foundation cracks on neighboring buildings, demo on the 6th street embankment would have greated adverse effects due to the proximity of housing. Demo or building is far from a wise decision or use of the area.
