I am a Jersey City resident near the proposed Conrail embankment demolition project. I am extremely concerned about toxic materials that may be released as a result of its destruction, as well as damage to the environment and surrounding historic structures. I urge you to authorize an Environmental Impact Statement before the project begins in order to ensure the safety and financial interests of local residents and businesses.
