Please authorize an Environmental Impact Statement before abandonment causes severe adverse effects to Jersey City historic districts, landmarks, neighborhoods, and families. Abandonment will lead directly to demolition. The effects of demolition of this massive structure will have extreme negative consequences, including adverse health effects and the loss of an important historical and cultural resource, as well as crucial natural habitat for migratory birds and other species.
