As a Greek artist who visits often New York City and participates in exhibitions in the metropolitan area, I am very interested in the High Line project in New York and the similar Embankment project in Jersey City. The Embankment is like a landscape art piece by Robert Smithson or Andy Goldsworthy. It lends incredible interest to the historic Downtown, reminding me of European neighborhoods and the Promenade Plantee . It should never be destroyed, but used instead for a park and trail that brings people to the Hudson River. I would like to ask the STB to prepare an EIS in this matter. Thank you.
