Please authorize an Environmental Impact Statement before abandonment causes severe adverse effects to Jersey City historic districts, landmarks, neighborhoods, and families. New Jersey needs to save and create all the open space it can. As the nation's most densely populated state, and also one of the most polluted, abandonment would result in a loss of green space and the possible release of pollutants in a city that needs more parks and less pollution.
