Given the extremely high density of the community, the legitimate concerns of the opposing parties, and the irreversible nature of demolition and development, I believe that a full Enviornmental Impact Statement is warranted in this matter. Conrail's proposal to abandon the right-of-way and the dire effects this will have on our community and our environment are too important for short-cuts. Please uphold the STB's duty to enforce federal laws that protect neighborhoods and families. I and my neighbors demand nothing less than a full, complete and fact-based Environmental Impact Statement. Thank you, Carmine Simmons Jersey City, NJ
